Margaret Pachl

Margaret Pachl received her undergraduate degree in Ceramic Art and Design from Alfred in 1947. She completed her advance degree or M.F.A. at Alfred in 1948. Margaret also studied with Alexander Archipenko, Boardman Robinson, Marguerite Wildenhain and a seminar with Leach and Hamada. Before accepting her teaching position at the University of North Dakota, she taught at the Kalamazoo Institute of the Fine Arts of Kalamazoo, Michigan. From 1949 to 1970, she taught at UND. Her last studio location was in Eureka Springs, Arkansas 72632. Margaret exhibited at a one man show in Kalamazoo, Michigan, Sioux City Art Center, Wichita National, Midwest Utilitarian Design Show and Joslyn Art Museum of Omaha, Nebraska to just mention a few locations. She exhibited at the Syracuse Nationals in 1947, 1952 and 1954.
